Inserting batteries
ATTENTION!

Always make sure that the device has been switched off
before inserting/changing batteries.

Turn the battery
compartment
cover so that
the mark points
towards
the
symbol.

Insert two 1.5 V
batteries (type
AAA). Make
sure that polarity
is correct (+/-,
indicated in the
battery compart-
ment).

Pull the battery
compartment
cover off.

Insert the battery
compartment
in the device
housing. It must
lock into place.
For this, push
the latch a bit
outwards if nec-
essary.

Push the latch
in the battery
compartment
outwards. Cau-
tion: The battery
compartment will
pop out.

Put the battery
compartment
cover back in
place and turn it
to the closed po-
sition. The mark
points towards
the
symbol.
