4.4 - Now unlock the short legs (SL) by removing the security pin from the transport position (S1),
then tip and slide the leg over the base until it is horizontal, match the hole in the short leg with the
working position in the support (S2), and block it with the pin and the clip. Repeat this step for both
legs (See figure 4.4.1).
4.5 - Once all the legs are in working position, tilt the tower carefully back to upright. By using the
transport wheels of the lifter, place it where it is going to be used, please note the lifter has to be
placed on a flat and firm surface so that it can be operated at maximum capacity.
4.6 - CAUTION! DO NOT ELEVATE THE LIFTER BEFORE REMOVING THE TRANSPORT LOCK.
As explained in section 4.1, on the side of the lifter there is the transport lock, turn it up as is shown
in figure 4.6.1 to place it in vertical position to unlock the sections and elevate the lifter without any
problem.
