Installation of HAC 1

Connecting the HAC The HAC 1 must be connected to the ventilation unit by the 5 m MODBUS cable that
1 comes with the HAC 1.
For more information se wiring diagram in the appendix.
Connect the HAC 1 to the ventilation unit as follows: (See also wiring diagram in the ap-
pendix)
Overall duct placing During installation of the different duct mounted heating / cooling coils the below plac-
principle ing instruction must be followed.
Step
1 Disconnect the power to the ventilation unit
2 Plug the 6 way plug on the 5 m Modbus cable into the Connector Panel in the
bottom of HCV 3/5 unit or in the end of the HCH 5/8 unit.
3 In case of HCH 5/8 installation the communication cable for HCP 4 control
panel must be removed form the Connector Panel of the ventilation unit and
plugged into the modbus connector on the side of the HAC 1 box.
In case of an HCV 3/5 installation the HCP 4 control panel stays connected to
the ventilation unit where it is integrated.
4 Reconnect the power to the unit, and the green Status Diode on the HAC 1
must light up.
