● The function selection switch 2 is set to the ON position as standard. Two-
sensor mode is therefore activated.
● If you wish to deactivate single-sensor mode, place the function selection
switch 2 in the OFF position.

8.3. Activating/deactivating phase alignment

Phase alignment is activated or deactivated using the function selection switch 3.
● The function selection switch 3 is set to the ON position as standard. Phase
alignment is therefore activated.
● If you wish to deactivate phase alignment, place the function selection switch 3
in the OFF position.

8.4. Activating/deactivating the remote start function

The remote start function is activated or deactivated using the function selection
switch 4.
● The function selection switch 4 is set to the OFF position as standard. The
remote start function is therefore deactivated.
● If you wish to activate the remote start function, place the function selection
switch 4 in the ON position.

EN 60335-2-53 states that sauna control units with a remote start func-
tion may only be used with sauna heaters which satisfy the combustion
test described in paragraph 19.101 of EN 60335-2-53. Alternatively,
a suitable safety shut-off device can be installed in or above the heater.

heater.
