2.7 Safety instructions for assembly and maintenance work

The system operator is responsible for ensuring that all assembly and maintenance work is
undertaken by qualified specialist personnel. They must have read the operating instructions in
advance and be familiar with the product. Work on the fixed setpoint controller is generally only
permitted when the system is at a standstill. The prescribed procedures for standstill are also to
be taken from the operating instructions.
After completing the work, all protective equipment, such as touch protections, are to be reat-
tached according to regulations.

2.8 Unauthorised modification and spare part manufacture

Changes or modifications to the product are only permitted after prior coordination with the
manufacturer. Only original spare parts are permitted for repairs. Only accessories approved by
the manufacturer may be used. If other parts are used, the manufacturer is excluded from all
liability for the resulting consequences.

2.9 Prohibited operating modes

The operational safety of the fixed setpoint controller is only guaranteed with intended
use. Observe the operating instructions here.
