New vitality through fruit juices!
Juice extraction from fruits, vegetables or herbs is a widespread and popular way of
stocking up on all-natural, vitamin-rich juices for wintertime.
Juice extraction using steam plays a special role in this regard. The juice extracted in
the steam juicer is sterile and therefore can poured directly into prepared containers
such as bottles orjars and stored tightly sealed.

The
juice extraction top
BIELMEIER
(BHG 430.000)
is not an independent
appliance and can only be used in com-
bination with a
auto-preser-
BIELMEIER
ving cooker. You should therefore follow
the instructions for your auto-preserving
cooker.
To start using the appliance, you
should proceed as follows:
For a single juice-making operation, pour
at least 6 liters of water into your preser-
ving cooker. During the entire extraction
process, you should ensure there is al-
ways enough water in the auto-preser-
ving cooker.
12
Place the fitting ring
(3)
on your preser-
ving cooker in such a way that the gap
for the outlet tube
(4)
is up at the front.
Place the juice collection container
on the fitting ring with the outlet tube
pointing to the front. Insert the fruit bas-
ket
(1)
in the juice collection container, fill
with the food prepared for juice making
and close with the lid of the preserving
cooker.
The fruit basket should not be filled to
more than ¾ of ist capacity, regardless of
the weight of the contents.
The walls and bottom of the fruit basket
have holes so that the steam can pene-
trate from all sides unimpeded.
This releases the juice of fruits, vegeta-
bles or herbs, so that it runs through the
holes of the fruit container, collects in the
juice collection container and can be con-
veniently poured into bottles through the
outlet tube and tube fastener (4).
After turning the knob on your Bielmeier
auto-preserving cooker to the
boil
ting, the juice-making can begin.
It is now important to keep the water
boiling continually to produce uninter-
rupted steam to extract the juice. One
can detect the start of juice extraction
in the viewing glass of the outlet tube.
The collection container can collect up
to 3 liters of juice which, from time to
time, is poured off into cleaned and pre-
heated bottles. After a juice extraction
period of between 30 and 60 minutes,
depending on the recipe, the process is
finished. Immediately after filling with hot
juice, the cleaned bottles are sealed with
clean caps or lids. The sealed bottles are
(2)
allowed to cool down and store upright.
(4)
Particular attention must be paid to the
water level in the appliance.
With normal use (development of steam)
the appliance should be topped up with
sufficient water every 45 minutes. If the
appliance boils dry, the enamel on the
pan could be damaged.
Safety notice:
The surfaces of all appliances are hot du-
ring juice-making. Be careful when ope-
ning the appliance because steam emer-
ges.
