7. Cleaning a nd Ma intena nce
O ccasionally wipe with a damp cloth to kee p it look ing ne w. Do
not use harsh chem icals, cleaning solve nts or strong
de te rge nts to clean the de te ctor.
• The VTTE ST30 doe s not need any particular m ainte nance .
• To avoid unre liable test re sults, replace the batte ry as soon as the
low batte ry indication appe ars.
Battery Replacement
1. To avoid possible e le ctric shock s and pe rsonal injury, turn off
the maste r unit and disconne ct all test leads.
2. Slide the cove r and ope n the batte ry com partment at the back
of the teste r.
3. Re place the old batte ry with a ne w batte ry of the same type (not
incl.).
4. C lose the batte ry compartme nt.
