3. Use

Intended Use
The air regulator is part of the breathing protection apparatus and regulates
the flow of filtered compressed air to the corresponding components.

4. Description

The air regulator is an optional part of the breathing protection apparatus.
It acts as the interface between the compressed air supply system and the
consumers and consists of the main parts:
■ Connection for breathing protection hood [2-9]
■ Connection for compressed air supply [2-7]
■ Air volume flow controller  [2-2]
■ Quick coupling for connecting the spray gun [2-5]
■ CCS disk [2-1] to personalise the air regulator
■ Fastening module [2-10] for fastening the air regulator to the belt
■ Hinged hood holder [2-6] for fitting the breathing protection hood
■ Cap for filter cartridge [2-3]
■ Cap for SATA air warmer carbon [2-8]
Notice!
The fastening module is fitted for right-handed operation of the spray 
gun and can be changed for left-handed operation.
Notice!
After being attached to the carrying strap, the air regulator can be
placed at an angle from the base position if required. Individual locking
positions are 22.5° and 45° forward or backward.

■ CCS-disks, 1 bag (red, black, green, blue), red is mounted
■ Activated charcoal filter (sealed in foil)
■ SATA filter timer
