START-UP/STAND-BY/SHUT-DOWN OF THE HOME
THEATER SYSTEM
• Press the POWER switch at the rear side of the device
to turn the device ON or OFF.
• Press q on the device or on the remote control to start
the system.
Note: When the device is turned on, if it is not used for 20
minutes, it automatically switches onto standby mode.
After using the system, it is recommended to turn it off.
SET UP MENU
Access to set-up menu
The home theater system is set up on the TV screen.
• Press SETUP on the remote control.
• Select a page on the SETUP menu and press ENTER.
• Select an option and press ENTER to access other
parameters.
• Select the parameters and press ENTER to confirm.
• Parameters highlighted in grey are not available or
cannot be modified.
• Once on a sub-menu, press a to go back to the main
menu.
• Press SETUP to exit the set-up menu.

GENERAL SETUP MENU

TV Display
Adjust the video ratio (display format) according to your TV
format: Normal/PS (Pan-scan), Normal/Lb (letter size), Large
(16: 9).
HOME CINEMA
HT450
Angle Mark
A DVD disk with a multi-angle option can be viewed from
different angles, depending on the disk and if the function
is enabled.
OSD lang
Select screen language.
Default language: English.
Captions
Enables display of all subtitles depending on the disk and if
the function is enabled.
Screen saver
Enables screen energy savings if the function is enabled.
HDCD
During disk playback HDCD enables sound setting.
Last Memory
Allows to resume playback where paused.
Note: Press 2x on 3 to cancel.

Speaker configuration
SPDIF configuration
This DVD player has three audio outputs:
Channel equalizer
• Downmix: Front speakers configuration: G/D, STEREO,
or 5.1 Channel. Enables sound effects with two
speakers only or with all speakers at the same time.
• Front speaker: Selection of the size of front speakers.
• Center speaker: Selection of the size of the center
speaker.
• Rear speaker: Selection of the size of rear speakers.
• Subwoofer: Subwoofer enabled/disabled.
• SPDlF output:
SPDlF OFF: Analog surround sound is emitted through
output (12).
SPDIF / RAW or SPDIF / PCM: Digital surround sound
is emitted through coaxial output (20).
• LPCM output: Configuration of LPCM output. Note:
Comprises LPCM 48K and LPCM 96K for audio format.
• Equalizer type: Equalizer can be set to the following
predetermined parameters: Disabled, Rock, Pop, Live,
Dance, Techno, Classical and Slow.
• Bass: Bass enabled/disabled.
• Super bass: Super bass enabled/disabled.
• Treble: highlights treble sounds.
