POSITIONING AND PEGGING OF TRI GUY ROPES AND STANDARD GUY ROPES
POSITIONNEMENT ET PIQUETAGE DES HAUBANS
28/ The Ridgi-dome pole system, as with all Khyam
tents, is on the outside thus offering an infinite number
of guying positions just by simply attaching a guy rope
to the frame work itself.
However there are purpose made attachments for the
guy ropes on the underside of the to corner auto joint
(see FIG 22 E). These attachments are for the tri-guy
system which is supplied and fitted to your tent ready
for use. In the unlikely event that you should need to
remove one or all of the tri-guy systems, please make
sure you have noted the way in which they are attached
for your future reference. Should you ever need fitting
instructions these are available through your Ridgi-
dome dealer.
28/ Comme pour toutes les tentes KHYAM, les mâts du
Ridgi-Dome sont situés à l'extérieur, ce qui offre un
choix illimité de positions de haubanage, simplement en
fixant une corde à l'armature elle-même.
Toutefois, des points de fixation de haubans sont prévus
spécialement sur les articulations automatiques
(voir fig. 22E). Ces points de fixation correspondent aux
haubans trois points fournis et prêts à l'utilisation.
Au cas fort improbable où vous devriez détacher un ou
plusieurs haubans trois points de l'armature, notez bien
la façon dont ils sont fixés pour vous permettre de les
rattacher à nouveau ultérieurement.
29/ Each tri-guy has been secured for transit by gathering
all the rope together in a small fabric bag which is in turn
tied to the framework of the tent pole system.
Untie each individual tri-guy gathering.
Tri guys should be pegged out as far from the tent as
possible as this will provide the maximum support.

29/ Pour le transport, nous avons enroulé les haubans
trois points dans un petit sac attaché à l'armature
principale. Détachez chacun des 4 haubans.
Les haubans des chambres doivent être piquetés le plus
loin possible de la tente pour permettre une stabilisation
optimale (voir fig. 23).
