... until it is becomes possible to push out the discs fitted inside,
remove them from their seats (Fig. 36) and move the axles. It is
not necessary to loosen the nuts completely nor to
counterbalance by means of a second spanner!
Proceed to remove the hatch unit, first at the back (Fig. 37) ...
... then at the front, by pulling it downwards (Fig. 38).
On completion of cleaning, re-assemble the unit by following the
above mentioned steps in reverse order, taking care to position
the flat parts of the axles correctly! Once the hatch has been fitted,
slide in the discs and reposition them in their seats. At this stage,
simple screw the hatch into place. Tighten the screws well by
hand. Look at the figure: when the hatch is disassembled, it is
also possible to remove the emptying hatch, by sliding it out from
below.
Once the hatch has been mounted, the elements must be mobi-
le. To check that they are, simply push them with your fingers
(Fig. 39). If they do not move, as can easily occur when dealing
with fertilizer, and if the hatches do not move easily even after a
number of attempts, it is advisable to disassemble them and
clean them.
During re-assembly, before tightening the various parts, ensure
that the rear part of the hatch (on the spring side) is not too high.
Install the dosing roller in order to ensure that the height is correct.
