Electrical connection

• Before connecting the appliance make sure that the voltage and frequency rated on
the data plate conform to those of the mains supply.
WARNING! An all pole trip switch with a least 3 mm between the contacts must be
installed between the unit and the mains supply.
• Connect the control and security device wires.
• Connect the power supply cable to the device.
• Do not use cables with aluminium conductors; do not solder the ends of cables which
are to be inserted into the binding posts; use cables which are marked T min 85 °C and
are resistant to atmospheric agents.
• The terminal wires must be positioned in such a way that both the wire and the insulating
sheath are tightly fastened (plastic binding is sufficient). Where possible use the supplied
cable clamp.
TERMINAL BOARD CONNECTIONS

Earth binding post
Programmer power supply 230 V 50-60 Hz
3-4
5-6
LP flashing warning lamps 230 Vac 80W indicating gate/barrier in movement
"J1" open (fig. 1) = LP output powered intermittently
"J1" closed (fig. 1) = LP output powered constantly during work cycle.
7-8-9 Motor command output Common-Closing-Opening

Not used
11-12 LS output 24Vdc 3W. Indicates an opening/closing cycle in course.
The output gives slow flashing during opening, rapid flashing during closing and
switches off when the work cycle has terminated.
The indicator light must be connected between binding posts 11 and 12 of the
terminal board.
24 Vac 3W output, powering external devices (Photoelectric cells, etc.)
13
14
Common for all inputs and outputs (negative)
15
TB (contact N.C.) Blocking button input (when this contact opens the work cycle will
be interrupted until a new movement command is given.
TD (contact N.O.) Dynamic button input "Open-Block-Close-Block"
16
17
Common for all inputs and outputs (negative)
FCC closing travel limit input (contact NC)
18
FCA opening travel limit input (contact NC)
19
20
FTCI (contact NC) Safety and control device input. (photo-cell inverts the travel
direction when an obstruction is detected).
21
Common for all inputs and outputs (negative)
22
Mass for radio receiver antenna
23
Radio receiver antenna pole (The antenna must be connected using a coaxial cable
with an impedance of 50Ω)
N.B.: ALL UNUSED NC CONTACTS MUST BE JUMPED
Switch on the power and make sure that the red indicator LEDS are in the following condi-
tion:
- LD1 Green power on LED
- LD2 Red LED time programming indicator button
- LD3 Red security LED for the blocking button "TB"
- LD4 Red security LED for the closing direction travel limit "FCC"
- LD5 Red security LED for the opening direction travel limit "FCA"
- LD6 Red security LED for the inverting photoelectric cells "FTCI"
* Depends on the position of the shutter. If it is completely closed LD4 is "OFF"
and LD5 is "ON".
