ADDITIONAL SAFETYINSTRUCTIONS
! If possible, secure the workpiece. Clamp the
workpiece using a clamping equipment or a vice. !
Attention, risk of fi re! Avoid overheating of workpieces
being ground and the grinder itself. ! Make sure not to
endanger other persons by sparks. ! Always wear eye
and hearing protection. ! Use protective equipment
(gloves, apron, non-slipping footwear and others).
Always wear appropriate clothing. ! Wear a protective
dusk mask ! When processing wood or other materials,
harmful dust may be formed.
! Contact with and breathing of dust, e.g. from paints
containing lead, from some types of hard wood,
minerals and metals may be harmful and may
endanger the health of the operator or of other
persons present in the work area. For example, dust
from oak or beech especially in combination with
various chemicals for wood protection is considered
as carcinogenic. ! Processing of materials containing
asbestos is prohibited! ! Always, where possible, use a
dust extractor to minimize the amount of dust present
in the air that is being formed during grinding. ! Make
sure that the vent holesof the power tool are always
unrestricted and free. When the dust must be removed,
disconnect the power tool from the power supply. Avoid
damages to internal parts. ! Children and pregnant
women must not enter the work area. ! Do not use the
power tool for light metals containing magnesium of
more than 80% since such metals are fl ammable. !
Make sure that the applied accessories are designed
for the maximum speed specifi ed in the technical data
of the grinder. ! Make sure that the accessories are
attached in compliance with instructions.

This electric compact grinder is designed and
determined for drilling, engraving, cutting, polishing,
sandpapering of metals, wood, stone and plastics.

USE AND OPERATION
The ASIST power tool is designed for domestic or hob-
by use only.
The manufacturer and the importer do not recommend
to use this equipment under extreme conditions and at
high loads. Any other additional requirements must be
agreed upon by the manufacturer and the buyer.
Switching ON/OFF (B)
The grinder is switched on by shifting the switch button
(1) to position "I". The grinder is switched off by shifting
the switch button (1) to position "0".
Speed Setting (C)
The speed regulator enables smooth speed setting.
The selection of speed depends on the work being
performed. We recommend to switch on the grinder
with a set lower speed and only then to increase it.
Hints:
High speed - metal cutting, cutting of hard materials
Medium speed - metal engraving, drilling, deburring,
grinding Low speed - rust removal, wood polishing
Very low speed - polishing
Accessories Exchange
Before any exchange of accessories, always discon-
nect the plug from the socket. Accessories, e.g. grind-
ing stones or cutting discs, may be directly attached to
the multipurpose device.
