 After three consecutive obstruction interventions, the
automatic closing is excluded if it is activated.
Inputs SM
Inputs SM1 and SM2 (NO contact). These are meant for
installing an accessory with a dual function:
• Disable the sensitive safety edge when it rests on the
ground ensuring total closure of the winding shutter. This
allows the shutter to be completely closed without any
obstruction detection problems;
• Report the attempted break in of the shutter by generating
an alarm that corresponds to the closing of the NO contact
between AL1 and AL2.
The accessory is made up of a sensor to install near the
shutter's closing area and of a magnet to apply to the shutter
so that it activates the sensor when it is closed. For further
information consult the accessory's installation manual.
Shutter break in alarm
The AL1 and AL2 output is a normally clean open contact
that the control unit closes when a break in is attempted on
the shutter from outside (without the help of the motor). The
contact is restored by pressing any button on the memorized
transmitter. After ten consecutive minutes of active alarm
(open shutter) the contact reopens.
The moment the magnet is repositioned on the sensor (the
shutter is closed again) the alarm stops after three minutes.
Photocells' safety connection
Safety test: upon each open or close command, the board
verifies that the safety systems work. Any malfunction
inhibits any command and the LED light flashes.
Electrical connection for the functioning of the photocells
safety test:
the transmitter and the receiver, must be connected as
shown in the diagram; DIP switch 5 must be set to ON.
 IMPORTANT NOTE. In case there are other safety
systems connected to the board, change the following
connections: from 2-C7 and 2-CR to TS-C7 and TS-CR.
Adjusting the endstops and protection time
The protection time protects the shutter in case the motor's
mechanical endstop fails to intervene and cuts off the power
supply to prevent overheating or damage to the shutter.
Memorizing a transmitter or using the wired commands;
For each operation the control panel powers the motor for
2.5 minutes of working time;
The 2.5 minutes of working time is indicated by the
continuous flashing even when the motor is idle.
Upon finishing the adjusting of both upper and lower
endstops, proceed to memorize the protection time
-
With the control panel powered up, press the Door Run
button for 5 seconds
-
The PROG LED light turns on and the motor automatically
performs a complete run between the upper and lower
endstops.
-
Upon finishing to memorize the memorization of the
protection time the control unit emits a continuous sound
for five seconds and the PROG LED turns off.
If the procedure is interrupted either manually or by a safety
device, repeat the procedure from the start.
Cancelling the protection time
 Do not modify the mechanical endstops before having
canceled the protection time.
-
With the control panel powered up press the Door Run
button until the PROG LED light flashes.
-
Again press the Door Run button until the PROG LED light
turns off.
