Dry vacuum cleaning

ATTENTION
Risk of damage! During dry vacuum clean-
ing the cartridge filter and, if necessary, a
membrane filter (optional accessory) must
be inserted.
– When vacuuming up fine dust, a fleece
filter bag (special accessory - NT 50/1,
NT 50/2 only) can additionally be used.

Start up

Install fleece filter bag
NT 50/1, NT 50/2 only:

 Release and remove the suction head.
 Fit fleece filter bag (optional accessory)
and ensure correct seating.
 Insert and lock the suction head.
Install membrane filter

 Release and remove the suction head.
 Pull the membrane filter (optional ac-
cessory) over the container edge and
ensure correct seating.
 Insert and lock the suction head.
Wet vacuum cleaning
– During wet vacuum cleaning, the car-
tridge filter can be replaced by a coarse
dirt filter (special accessory) or a mem-
brane filter (special accessory).
ATTENTION
Risk of damage! During wet vacuum clean-
ing, either the cartridge filter, a coarse dirt
filter (special accessory) or a membrane fil-
ter (special accessory) must be inserted.
– When vacuuming up wet dirt, the fleece
filter bag (optional accessory) must al-
ways be removed.
– After the wet vacuuming: Clean the me-
chanical overflow protection and the
container with a damp rag and dry
them.
Coarse dirt filter installation
 Release and remove the suction head.
 Unscrew the star screw and pull out the
cartridge filter.

 Install coarse dirt filter (optional acces-
sory).
 Tighten the star screw.
 Insert and lock the suction head.
– When changing from wet to dry vacuum
cleaning, the coarse dirt filter must be
replaced by a cartridge filter and, if nec-
essary, by a membrane filter.
