5.3. "3 min" button
This function boils water continuously for 3 minutes to disinfect the appliance and
/ or the water and kill any germs.
First, press the "ON/OFF

automatically stopped. You will hear two beeps and the process is completed.

5.4. Keep-warm function

Then, press and hold the "ON/OFF
2 seconds. You hear a beep and the LED in the "Temperature" button starts glow-
ing in red. Without any further operation, the water is kept heated at 100°C. For
other temperatures, select a desired temperature ( 40°C / 70°C / 80°C / 90°C) by
pressing repeatedly.
The kettle heats to the set temperature and keeps it warm for about 2 hours.
Caution! When the kettle measures a temperature drop of about 10°C, it switches
on again and heats up to the set target temperature.
6. Descaling and cleaning
• We recommend to descale the kettle at regular intervals depending upon the
intensity of use.
• Before cleaning, pull out the power plug and wait until the appliance cools
down completely.
• Please use only commercially available descaling agents based on citric acid to
descale the water container.
• For the appropriate dosage, please refer to the specifications on the package
or insert of the descaling agent.
• The heating plate should not be specifically cleaned. Do not use any hard
objects on the heating plate.
• Use only a damp cloth for cleaning the kettle externally.
• Do not use any abrasive items like wire brush or steel sponge.
• Never use any cleaning agents which may corrode the surface or present a
health risk if consumed!
• Never immerse the appliance, the power cable or the plug in water or in any
other liquid to prevent risk of electric shock.
