RISK OF FIRE AND / OR EXPLOSION
Never use damaged, defective or
deformed batteries. Never attempt to
open the battery or subject it to knock and
blows.
Never charge the battery near acid and/or
flammable gas or other substances.
Do not expose batteries to heat or naked
flames.
Do not charge the battery at temperatures
below 10°C or above 40°C, this can
damage the battery.
Do not expose the battery to high
temperatures or strong sunlight for long
periods.
The battery will get hot during long periods
of use. Allow it to cool before charging.
Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
The battery must be packed in a plastic
bag or box, or the battery terminals
sealed, before transport or storage and
before waste disposal of the battery.

REMAINING RISKS

Even if appropriate safety regulations are
adhered to and safety devices are used,
it is not possible to eliminate all risks.
The following risks remain:
Risk of cut injuries.
Risk of hearing impairment.
Prolonged use without ear protection can
result in the risk of a hearing impairment.
Wear ear protection.
Risk of personal injury as a result of
vibration during prolonged and/or
incorrect use.
During prolonged use vibrations are
suspected to cause circulation problems in
the hands and arms, or Raynaud's
syndrome (white fingers). Stop working
immediately and seek medical attention if
you experience numbness, itching,
tingling or pain, or if your skin changes
colour. Limit the risk of injuries as a result

of vibrations by maintaining the tool
correctly, keeping your hands warm and
taking breaks.
Even if the product is used in accordance
with the instructions it is impossible to
rule out all risk factors.
WARNING!
The product must not be used to trim
hedges, cut thick branches, or to shred
material to be composted.
The product must not be used to cut or
trim grass that is not growing on the
ground – grass on roads, paving etc.
must not be cut or trimmed with the
product.
REMAINING RISKS
Even if the product is used in accordance
with the instructions it is impossible to
rule out all risk factors. The following are
potential risks associated with the type
and design of the product:
Damage to lungs (if an effective face
mask is not worn).
Damage to ears (if effective ear
protection is not worn).
Vibration injuries (if the product is
used for long periods, or is not
handled and maintained correctly).
During prolonged use vibrations are
