Wiring instructions
For use with 230 volt AC Mains supply.
The supply cable cannot be replaced. If the cable is damaged the propagator
should be scrapped. Do not attempt to gain access to the heating element.
operating instructions
•
Ensure the propagator is placed on a firm, flat surface.
•
Avoid placing near a heat source and away from draughts.
•
To heat the unit simply plug in to the mains electrical supply.
•
The temperatures achieved within the propagator will depend on the air
temperature surrounding the unit.
•
A soil temperature of 16-21deg C (60-70deg F) is generally
recommended for seed germination.
•
In warmer conditions switch the off the heating element
until required again.
•
Keep the compost moist for an even distribution of heat.
•
Open the vents to release excess moisture and when required
remove the clear lid for 2-3 hours to allow the seedlings to dry off.
•
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.

If the capillary tray and mat are to be used:
•
Switch off and unplug from the electrical supply
while filling with water. Maximum 1.4litres.
