1. SAFETY INFORMATION AND WARNINGS

For your safety and to ensure correct usage, read
this user manual carefully, including its tips and
warnings,before installing and using the appliance
for the first time.To avoid unnecessary mistakes and
accidents, it is important to make sure that all people
using the appliance are entirely familiar with its
operation and safety features. Keep these instructions
safe and be sure that they remain with the appliance if
it is moved or sold, so that anyone using it, throughout
its service life, will be properly informed regarding its
usage and safety information.
To protect against injury and property damage, heed
the warnings provided with these user's instructions;
the manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by
failure to read and heed them.

1.1 Safety of children and the vulnerable

> According to EN standard:
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years
or older, by persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or who lack experience and
knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have
been given instruction concerning the safe use of
the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be performed by
unsupervised children. Children between 3 and 8
years of age are allowed to load and unload items
from refrigerating appliances.
> According to UL standard:
This appliance is not intended for use by children
under the age of 3 or by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or who lack experience and knowledge, unless they are
supervised or have been given instruction concerning
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
> Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
> Keep all packaging away from children, as it poses
a suffocation hazard.

> When disposing of the appliance, unplug the
appliance from the power outlet, cut the power cable
(as close as possible to the appliance) and remove the
doors in order to prevent children from playing with
it, from receiving an electric shock or from closing
themselves inside of it.
> If this appliance, featuring magnetic door seals,
is replacing an older appliance with a spring lock
(latch) on the door, be sure that the spring lock is
broken before discarding the old appliance, in order
to prevent any injuries.

1.2 General safety
