DESCRIPTION:
1. SENSITIVITY KNOB: turn this knob anti-clockwise to decrease the sensitivity or turn it clockwise to
increase the sensitivity of the integrated microphone. Try to make the setting so the sound controlled
programs react to the beat of the music and not to the surrounding noise.
2. CONTROL PANEL:
a. DISPLAY: shows the various menus and the selected functions.
b. LEDS:
DMX

SLAVE

c. BUTTONS:
MENU

3. HANGING BRACKET: with 2 knobs to fasten the unit in the desired position and a mounting hole to fix a
mounting hook
4. INTERNAL MICROPHONE: The built-in microphone is used to synchronize the show to the beat of the
music. You can set the sensitivity of this microphone by adjusting the sensitivity knob (1)
5. SAFETY EYE: used to attach a safety cable when the unit is rigged (see paragraph "overhead rigging"
6. MAINS OUTPUT: you can use our "combi cables" and this IEC output to easily daisy-chain the next unit
7. MAINS INPUT: with IEC socket and integrated fuse holder; connect the supplied mains cable here.
8. DMX OUTPUT: 3pin female XLR-connector used to connect the PARTY DERBY with the next unit in the
DMX chain.
9. DMX INPUT: 3pin male XLR-connector used to connect universal DMX-cables. This input receives
instructions from a DMX-controller (in DMX mode) or from the Master unit (in Master/Slave mode).
10. IR RECEIVER: for the wireless remote control
