When to calibrate

The turbidimeter was calibrated at the factory with Formazin Primary Standard and does not
require user calibration before use.
As the electronic and optical design of this instrument provides long-term stability the need
for frequent calibration is minimised. Perform calibration with TSK every 3 months or if
required, more often.

After the measurement "USEr" alternating with Stor is shown in the
display.
Press [ ! ] key to store the calibration.
First appears Stng (Storing), followed by StEd (Stored).

Factory calibration reset

The instrument can be reset to factory calibration. This could be
necessary if compromised standards have been used to calibrate the
instrument. Then the default settings can be used until new standards
have been delivered. During this time the instrument may measure
with a higher tolerance.
To reset the calibration press
and hold.
Switch the unit on using the [ON/OFF] key.
Release the [MODE] and [READ] keys after approx. 1 second.
The following messages will appear in turn on the display:
The factory setting is active.
(SEL stands for Select)
or:
Calibration has been set by the user.
(If the user calibration is to be retained, switch the unit off using the
[ON/OFF] key).
Calibration is reset to the factory setting by pressing the [MODE] key.
The following messages will appear in turn on the display:
Switch the unit off using the [ON/OFF] key.
both the [MODE] and [READ] key
