Mounting the radio camera
None of the connection cables must be bent nor squeezed. This can result in
malfunctions, short circuits and defects in the device.
Make sure that cables are not damaged when drilling or bolting into place.
Observe that the plug-in connection "DC IN 8 V/DC" (6) of the connection
cable of the camera is not exposed to moisture. This connector may be used
in dry rooms only. The cable from the camera must thus (for installation in
outdoor areas or in damp rooms) be placed so it is led into a dry room.
Please observe furthermore that the "Microphone" (5) is located within the
housing of the low voltage connector "DC IN 8 V/DC" (6) for the power supply
of the camera. As described above the plug-in connection must be in dry
indoor locations. If the camera is used in outdoor areas only image
surveillance will be possible. The sound reproduced will not come from the
surveillance area in this case.
The camera (IP44) is suitable for protected outdoor areas. The camera and the
receiver are only intended to be used in dry indoor locations.
• Find a suitable location for mounting the camera.
• There are 3 holes for installation in the mounting bracket (3). Mark these (e.g. with a pencil) on
the wall.
• Drill the holes.
• Fix the "camera bracket" (3), using suitable mounting material, to the wall.
• Adjust the camera to the desired position.
Do not point the camera directly toward a source of bright sunlight or toward
strong or indirect illumination as this may lead to overexposure and a fuzzy
picture.
Connecting the radio camera
• Connect the low voltage plug of the transformer supplied to the "DC IN 8 V/DC" (6) power con-
nection on your wireless camera.
• Plug the transformer into a suitable mains socket.
Connecting the radio receiver
• Connect the 3.5 mm jack plug of the provided audio/video cable (= adapter cable 3.5 mm jack
to 2 x cinch) to "A/V out" (10).
• Connect the adapter cable's white jack plug to the display device's audio input.
• Connect the adapter cable's yellow jack plug to the display device's video input.
• Screw the antenna on the "antenna connection" (8) of the receiver.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the transformer supplied to the "DC IN 8 V/DC" (9) power con-
nection on your wireless receiver.
• Plug the transformer into a suitable mains socket.
To avoid distortion or mismatching that could damage the appliance, the
audio connecting plug (white) may only be connected to an audio cinch input.
The video connecting plug (yellow) may only be connected to a video cinch
input.
If you are not clear about the correct connection, contact our technical sup-
port or another specialist.
To extend the audio and video signal, only use suitably shielded cinch cables.
The use of other cables might cause interference. Keep the length of the cable
as short as possible.
Start-up
Insert the two transformers for the wireless system into the mains sockets.
Turn your display device on, and set the respective channel to enable the display function.
Setting and selecting channels
An appropriate channel can be selected manually, using the "channel selector" (12) on the
receiver.
Automatic channel switching is selected, via the "LOOP switch" (7).
This system contains a camera set to "channel 1".

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before cleaning the housing of the surveillance camera or the receiver, separate it from the
mains voltage and disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the camera, it is sufficient to use a dry, soft and clean cloth.
Clean the lens very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to the cur-
rent statutory requirements.
