Intended Use
This 2.4 GHz aluminium colour camera set is for installing in, and protecting, secluded or critical
areas (e.g. surveillance of stores, intercommunication systems, entrances and so on).
The camera (IP44) is suitable for protected outdoor areas. The power supplies and the receiver
are only intended for use indoors, in dry areas.
The picture and sound transmission to the receiver is wireless, at a frequency of 2.4 GHz
(Gigahertz).
The receiver is designed for connection (video and audio) to equipment such as televisions.
The power is supplied via the power transformer (8 V/DC) provided.
Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera without their
knowledge and consent.
Use other than specified before is inadmissible and may damage the product,
which may cause short-circuit, fire, electrical shock,
etc. The product must not be modified or converted. The
safety instructions of this manual must be observed at all times. Please
read the operating manual carefully and keep it for later enquiries.

Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk in handling, operating
and control.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will lapse in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for material and per-
sonal damage caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety
instructions!
The exclamation mark indicates important information in these operating
instructions that should always be observed.
• The system components must not be modified or converted, as not only the
CE approval will become void but also the warranty.
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme temperatures,
direct sunlight, intense vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• Where the devices are used connected to other devices e.g. a television
screen, the operating instructions and safety notices of the devices con-
nected must be followed.
• The use of the surveillance camera system does not replace personal
supervision of children or people who require special assistance, but only
serves as a support to this supervision.
• This camera system uses and generates high frequency energy. If the
devices are not installed and operated in accordance with these instruc-
tions, they can cause radio interference. If the wireless camera system
causes interference to other equipment, try one or more of the following
measures listed below, in order to restore normal operation:
- Change the position of the camera.
- Increase the distance between the device affected and the radio camera
or the receiver for the radio camera system.
- Select another transmission channel.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the system components require
approx. 15 min. to stabilise, to adjust to the surrounding temperature,
before they can be used.
• The system components are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of
children!

The camera is equipped with infrared LEDs in order to enable night vision. Please
observe that the coloured image reproduction changes into black and white monochrome
representation by the activation of the IR-LEDs caused by increasing dusk.
Assembly
Find a suitable place for mounting, from which the area to be monitored can be observed.
A suitable place for installation of this camera has the following features:
• • Vibration-free
• No direct sunlight
• The transformers supplied comply with protection class II. It may only be
plugged into a standard household 230V~/50Hz mains socket.
• Please contact a qualified person if you are unsure about the safety and
correct use of the system components.
• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic film / bags
etc. can be dangerous toys for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• Power supply must never be plugged in or disconnected with wet hands.
• Never pull on the cables of the plug-in power unit. Always pull the plug-in
power unit out of the socket by gripping its housing.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the power supply units from the
mains socket during thunderstorms.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer operates and
- the device has been stored under unfavourable conditions for a long peri-
od of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• The provided receiver and the power supply units of this system must not
get wet or damp and are solely intended to be used in dry indoor locations.
The camera (IP44) is suitable for protected outdoor areas.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified
specialist or a specialised repair shop.

Select a place for mounting which is not shielded by, for example, reinforced
concrete walls, steamed up mirrors or metal shelves. There should be no
devices that produce strong electrical fields, such as mobile telephones,
radios or electrical motors, close to the device.
This can influence the radio transmission.
