dangerous playing material for children.
• When used in conjunction with other devices, observe the operating instructions
and safety notices of connected devices.
• The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
• The product must not be exposed it to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,
intense vibration, or dampness.
• Never touch the device with wet or moist hands. There is a danger of electrocution.
• On commercial premises, the accident prevention regulations of the relevant
professional insurance association for electrical systems and operating materials
are to be observed.
• Operation in unfavourable ambient conditions is not permitted. Adverse ambient
conditions are:
- moisture or excessive humidity
- dust and combustible gases, vapours or solvents
• Since the device generates heat when operating, ensure that it is adequately
ventilated. The housing must not be covered!
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, then
disconnect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation. It
can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer functions
- it has been stored for long periods of time under unfavourable conditions or
- it has been subject to considerable stress in transit.
• Never switch the device on immediately after having taken it from a cold to a warm
environment. Under adverse conditions, the resulting condensation could destroy
the device. Allow the device to reach room temperature before switching it on.
• Power units are not designed for application to human beings or animals.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it from the
mains socket using the intended grips.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an extended
period of time.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or
put under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from
extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the mains cable may be
damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
VERSION 06/14
• Operating instructions
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains
socket (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from
the mains socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a workshop
commissioned by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person, so as to prevent any
danger.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or
at a qualified shop.

OPERATION
Periodically check the technical safety of the device, e.g. check for damage to the
housing etc.
Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them.
This poses a risk of injury.
1. Connect the DC plug of the power supply with the DC jack on the low-voltage device.
2. The polarity cannot be altered. The plug has the fixed polarity „inside plus (+), outside minus (-)".
3. Make sure that the consumers are switched off when connected to the power supply.
4. Connect the power cord's low-voltage plug with the matching connector of the power supply unit.
5. Connect the power cord's mains plug to a standard mains outlet.
6. Correct operation is signaled at the power supply by a LED.
7. To remove the consumer, proceed in reverse sequence.
TROUBLESHOOTING
By purchasing the power supply you have acquired a product that has been designed to the state of
the art and is operationally reliable. Problems and malfunctions can occur nevertheless. We would
therefore like to show how you can rectify certain faults yourself:
Observe the safety instructions by all means!
