Troubleshooting Minor Problems

Before calling your service shop or dealer, try the solutions in the following
table.
PROBLEM

Freezer
fails to go
on

No electricity supplied.
Voltage excessively low/
high (observe oscillation
of lamps in the house).
Defective wall outlet.
Product unplugged.
Power supply cord
damaged.
Installation in an
inadequate place.
Temperature control set to
refrigerator or
intermediary position.
Excessive opening of the
doors.
Poor distribution of food,
blocking air circulation.
Too much food to be
frozen.
The Super Cold setting
is on.
Temperature control set to
freezer or at intermediary
position.
SOLUTION
Check the fuse and circuit
breaker. Also check whether
product is plugged in.
Install an automatic voltage
stabilizer (min 1000 Watts).
Check the wall outlet by
plugging in another appliance.
Replace if necessary.
Plug it in.
Call the assistance shop or
your dealer.
Refer to "Where do I start?"
(Installing).
Set to the freezer position
(see item "How to Operate
the Temperature Control").
Tell people to open the doors
only when necessary.
Rearrange food.
(see item "Storing Food").
Observe maximum freezing
capacity (see item "Freezing
Capacity").
Turn the Super Cold setting on.
Turn the Super Cold setting off.
Set to the refrigerator position
(see item "How to Operate
the Temperature Control").
