By using the diagnostic plug, it is possible to connect the "Leonardo" either to a PC
through serial interface on which a special programming software is installed, or to the
hand - held tester. In either case several menus are available. From these menus it is
possible to configure the "Leonardo" to the characteristics of different vehicle types,
as well as to check for correct operation of the chosen configurations.
The "Leonardo" Cod. 175 is supplied complete with fuel switch. The fuel switch is
provided with the following functions:
• low fuel indicator;
• rocker to select PETROL or ALTERNATIVE FUEL;
• option to display Oxygen Sensor malfunctions by enabling the DIAGNOSTIC
function (PLEASE NOTE: this function is normally disabled);
• if the petrol start function is enabled (DECELERATION or ACCELERATION), in
case of emergency it is possible to start the engine directly on the alternative fuel.

YELLOW L.E.D. ⇒ ⇒ ⇒ ⇒ ⇒ Slow flashing. If the DIAGNOSE function is activated during GAS
operation, and the YELLOW led starts flickering slowly, the control board has memorised
a failure in the lambda feeler. At this point the YELLOW led shall continue to flicker both
during GAS and PETROL operation. In this condition, if you switch off the panel, the
YELLOW led will stop flickering however the failure will remain memorised in the control
board's memory. If at the following start with GAS operation, the failure is still there, the
YELLOW led shall start flickering once again. At this stage, eliminate the problem and
cancel the error through the computer or the Hand - Held Tester. Error cancellation
operations must be carried out with engine switched off and panel turned off.
