the indicated range.
a) Open the maintenance cover (23).
b) Remove the oil dipstick (25) and wipe the dipstick clean.
c) Check the oil level by inserting the dipstick into the filler neck without screwing
it in.
d) If the level is low, fill to the upper limit of the oil filler neck with the
recommended oil.
e) Tighten the oil dipstick (25) and close the maintenance cover (23)
CAUTION!
Carefully pour in engine oil Avoid spilling!
2. Refuelling
Refill the fuel tank if the fuel level is low. Refuel carefully to avoid spilling fuel. Do
not fill above the maximum fuel level.
a) Stop the engine and keep heat, sparks, and flame away. Wipe up spills
immediately.
b) Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped. If the engine has been
running, allow it to cool fist.
c) Refuel carefully to avoid spilling fuel. Wipe up spills immediately. Do not fill above
the fuel strainer shoulder. After refueling, tighten the fuel tank cap securely.
OPERATION
NOTE:
THE GENERATOR HAS BEEN SHIPPED WITHOUT ENGINE OIL. FILL WITH
OIL OR IT WILL NOT START.

1. Start the engine

NOTE:
• Do not connect the electric load or equipment before
starting the engine.
a) Turn the vent valve knob (14) to "ON". (Fig.1)
b) Turn the engine switch (10) to "CHOKE".Fig.2)
Turn engine switch (10) to "RUN" if engine is warm.

c) Turn the auto idle switch (5) to "OFF"
d) Pull the starter handle slowly until resistance is felt.
Return the handle to its original position and pull swiftly.
Do not fully pull out the rope. After starting, allow the
starter handle to return to its original position while still holding the handle.(Fig.3)
e) Turn the engine switch to "Run" position after the engine is warmed up for 1
minute. (Fig.4)
f) Warm up the engine without a load for a few minutes
WARNING:
ONCE THE GENERATOR HAS STARTED, RELEASE THE STARTING
HANDLE SLOWLY TO AVOID INJURY/DAMAGE AS IT WHIPS BACK.
2. Connecting Electric Devices
AC application (Single Voltage Type)
a) Ensure that electrical equipment is switched off
before connecting to the generator.
b) Connect the plug(s) of the electrical equipment
into the appropriate socket.
c) Set the AC breaker (3) to "ON". Turn the auto idle
switch (5) to "ON"
d) The generator can supply 230 V AC.
e) If the AC overload protector activates, wait for a few minutes and then press the
AC breaker (3) to "ON"
