1.1
Introduction
The Casalift 140E / 180E is a lightweight and versatile lift device for use in patient

and geriatric care situations. Use of the lift is facilitated considerably by its

This manual was produced based upon the information available on the design

Intended use

The Casalift 140E / 180E should be use exclusively for the purpose of lifting and
moving persons in need of care. It is only designed to move patients over short
distances.
Improper use will lead to the exclusion of the manufacturer's liability.
The Casalift may only be used by persons who have received instruction from the
owner, and under consideration of the condition of the patient being transport-

ed. In borderline cases, or if in doubt, consult the attending doctor.
Restriction on use!
Patients who are heavier than 140 kg/180 kg must not be lifted with the Casalift.
