Fine sand filter

If you use water containing fine sand you must mount a fine sand
filter. The filter element is exchanged as required.
If a fine sand filter is not fitted there is a risk that the fine sand
will deposit in the unit and hereby damage the machine. This is
not covered by the warranty.

Starting

If you require the high pressure cleaner to work with an action
radius larger than its standard, you should lengthen the high
pressure hose and not the electric cable.
The high pressure cleaner must be situated as far away from the
cleaning site as possible.
The high pressure cleaner should always be placed vertically.
1.
Connect the electric cable. Note the rated voltage and
amperage of the high pressure cleaner :
3 X 230V, 50 Hz
23 A
3 X 400V, 50 Hz
12 A
3 X 415V, 50 Hz
12 A
2.
Check the oil level of the pump. Only read the oil level with
the machine stationary. The oil must be visible in the middle
of the oil glass (2.17).
Connect the high pressure hose to the pressure outlet (2.5).
Flush your water supply hose through and connect it to the
water inlet (2.3). The hose must be min. 3/4".
The water supply pressure must be max. 10 bar during
operation.
In connection with an inlet pressure above 5 bar it is recom-
mended to mount a water tank.
Turn on the water.
3.
Flush the high pressure hose and the pistol through and
then fit the Turbo Laser or single/double lance on the pistol.
4a. Automatic operation
Turn the selector switch (2.22) to position "AUT". When the
pistol handle (2.7) is released the high pressure cleaner runs
for a short time and then stops. Restart takes place by acti-
vating the pistol handle.
N.B.! The pump cannot suck in by itself in automatic opera-
tion.
4b. Manual operation
If you wish to suck in water from an external tank or the like,
turn the selector switch (2.22) to position "I". When the pistol
handle (2.7) is released the high pressure cleaner runs for 4
minutes and then it stops. To restart, first turn the selector
switch to position "0" and then to position "1".
5.
N/G-662A
(Open the water capacity regulator (2.13) by turning the reg-
ulator counter clockwise to maximum. Open the pressure
regulation handle (2.9) and activate the pistol (2.7). Allow
the high pressure cleaner to run until the pressure is stable
(to bleed the high pressure cleaner and hose). The high
pressure cleaner is now ready for operation and by means
of the pressure regulation handle (2.9) you may infinitely reg-
ulate the pressure up to the maximum pressure of the high
pressure cleaner.)**

OPERATING AND
STARTING GUIDE

Stopping

To stop the high pressure cleaner turn the selec-tor switch (2.22)
to pos."0". Switch off the power for the high pressure cleaner at
the mains switch and turn off the water supply.
Always lock the pistol with the safety device on the handle when
you put down the lance. This will prevent any unauthorized per-
sonnel from immediately using the high pressure cleaner.

Detergent application

Use only high pressure detergent which has been developed
specifically for use in high pressure cleaners. It is economical in
use and is gentle on the cleaning object and the high pressure
cleaner.
The desired amount of detergent (up to 6%) is set on the deter-
gent regulator (2.14).
When clockwise turning the water quantity regulator (2.13) of the
662 to min. "0", you reduce the water quantity to approx. 3.5
l/min. With this adjustment you obtain a rise in temperature of
20°C and it is possible to apply up to 25% detergent to the
object to be cleaned.
The detergent regulator must be in pos. "0" when detergent is
not being used as the pump, otherwise, may suck in air.
