Installing the mirror
1. Before you start using the mirror, you need to check whether your car mirror is suitable
for this clip-on mirror;
2. Hold the support (b) against the back of the mirror head on the most suitable place;
3. Unscrew the nuts of the of the mounted knob and the bar knob (c) almost completely;
4. Slide the 2 strips (d) for fitting on top of the mirror through the respective grooves in the
support (b) and hook them on the frontside of the head mirror;
5. For fitting below, use the strip (f,g) with the large or small hook (depending on the
dimensions of your mirror) and tighten these parts gently with the mounted knob (c);
6. Check if the suckers are correctly adjusted on the housing and strap them;
7. Make sure that housing as well as the fitting strips are placed as flat as possible against
the mirror to enable maximum stability;
8. When the housing is correctly placed, you can tighten the mounted knob (c) on the top
completely. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN;
9. When the housing is correctly fitted, the bar with mirror head (a) can be fitted and
placed in the correct position and kept in place with the bar knob (c).
Make sure you place the mirror head in a position which enables you to make all maximum
adjustment later on, both vertical and horizontal.
Remote control basic
The remote control (i) is able to set the view of your mirror in 4 different positions:
left vertical (1), right vertical (2), left horizontal (3) and right horizontal (4). Originally the
remote control is programmed to left horizontal position of your mirror (3). In the case of 3
other positions you first need to program the correct position. (see Programming and setting
the Mirror Control
). Take note of the position of the infrared sensor!

Programmeren en instellen van de Mirror Control
1. Monteer de spiegel in de gewenste positie op uw auto spiegel. De infrarood sensor (h)
moet zich aan de buiten- dan wel bovenzijde bevinden (zie De afstandsbediening).
2. Neem plaats achter het stuur.
3. Druk 2 seconden de P-toets van uw afstandsbediening in en laat los (5).
4. Druk daarna binnen 2 seconden één van de 4 andere toetsen in overeenkomstig de
positie van uw spiegel (zie De afstandsbediening).
5. Wanneer de programmering correct is voltooid zal de betreffende spiegel dit door een
korte beweging bevestigen: 1 seconde omlaag, 1 seconde omhoog. Bewegingen in
andere richtingen zijn foutief. Controleer de positie van de spiegel en begin opnieuw.
6. U kunt nu met dezelfde 4 toetsen (5) uw spiegel in de gewenste richtingen bewegen om
uw optimale zicht te bepalen.

Vervanging van de spiegel batterij (6)
1. Aan de achterkant van de spiegel zit een dekseltje waaronder de 9V batterij;
2. Draai het schroefje met een schroevendraaier los. Bewaar deze in uw auto;
3. Met de schroevendraaier kunt u het dekseltje verwijderen en de batterij uitnemen;
4. Plaats de nieuwe batterij, druk het dekseltje op z'n plaats en bevestig de schroef.
Na vervanging van de spiegel batterij start Mirror Control

standaard stand (links horizontaal).
Vervangen van batterijen van de afstandsbediening (7)
1. Aan de achterzijde bevindt zich een klepje waaronder twee 1,5 Volt batterijen;
2. Druk het kapje open om de batterijen te verwisselen;
3. Zorg er voor dat de batterijen correct worden geplaatst;
4. Druk het klepje weer op zijn plaats.
Vervanging van de batterijen van de afstandsbediening heeft geen invloed op de
laatst ingestelde spiegelpositie.

Batterijen raken eerder leeg in koude omstandigheden.
Neem altijd extra batterijen mee naar koude bestemmingen.

De capaciteit (mAh) van oplaadbare batterijen is minder dan die
van niet-oplaadbare batterijen en worden om deze reden afgeraden.

Problemen oplossen
Indien uw Mirror Control
®
niet goed functioneert:
• Controleer of de programmering correct is ingesteld.
• Indien nodig vervang de batterijen van de afstands-
bediening en/of de spiegel batterij
• Duw het spiegelglas met de hand in een andere positie
en probeer opnieuw.
Indien de spiegel nog niet werkt, overleg dan met uw dealer.
