Oil the blades prior to, during and after every use.

Oil the blades no later than when the blades leave streaks or slow down.

Apply several drops of oil on the front and on the sides of the clipping

blades (see Fig. 10).
Wipe excess oil off with a soft, dry cloth.

Lubrication sprays do not have sufficient oil for a good lubrication, but

serve for cooling the shearing blades.
Immediately replace damaged or notched blades in order to avoid

injuries.

Cleaning

CAUTION!
IMPROPER CLEANING.
RISK OF DAMAGING THE SHEARING MACHINE!
Clean the shearing machine only with a dry cloth and with the
X
brush supplied. To clean the air filter, use exclusively a dry
brush or a nailbrush.
Never use compressed air for cleaning the clipper.

Housing of the shearing machine
Clean the housing of the shearing machine with a dry cloth.

Shearing blade and shearing head
Use the brush supplied to clean the clipping blade and the clipper head.

Lubricate the clipping blades as described in chapter 6.6.

Operating the shearing machine without the air filter can damage
the shearing machine.
Only use the shearing machine with a properly fitted air filter.
