28/80 Original operating instructions Eccentric worm drive pump F 550 S ... TR and Sanitary pump F 560 S ... TR
Make sure that the operator has read and understood the operating
instructions.
Check the motor, mains plug, pump and hose regularly for operating
safety.
The maximum operating pressure and the operating temperature
must not be exceeded.
High operating pressure may result in the containers or the hoses
bursting or becoming loose. Make sure that excessive pressure
does not result when filling a container.
Keep the air escaping and the displacement in mind when immer-
sing the pump in the liquid. Lower the pump carefully.
Fill carefully and at an appropriate speed to avoid leakage of the
liquid. Install appropriate splash guards for open barrels or contain-
ers.
After the filling, allow the excess to drip off the hand nozzle.
There may be liquid left in the outlet tube, which will then leak out.
Empty the pump, hose and fittings prior to removing the motor.
Remove spilled liquid from the floor and dispose of it in an environ-
mentally sound manner.
The maximum pressure of 8 bars must strictly be observed.
Only use couplings between motor and pump that are suitable for
use in category 2 (zone 1) and for explosion groups IIB or IIC.
The temperature class of the coupling must at least correspond to
the temperature class of the pump (e.g. pump with T4 -> coupling
T4, T5, T6).
Observe the operating and assembly instructions for the coupling
used (chapter 4).
Risk of injury due to open drive shaft.
Never operate motors without pump!
If the eccentric worm-drive pump is operated against a closed outlet,
an appropriate by-pass (pressure relief) valve must be used to limit
the maximum pressure.
