6.11 REMOTE BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Turn over the remote with rear side facing up. Slide
the battery cover off the remote.
2. Place type CR 2032 battery into the remote and
reinstall the battery cover by sliding it into position,
as shown. NOTE: For ease of installation, hold
the battery while sliding the cover onto the
remote
3. Battery cover is secure onto the remote control
when a "CLICKING" noise is heard.

Remove the top front and top rear panels, as illustrated in step 'B' section 6.9.
Unplug the wires connected to the heater and blower. NOTE: Use pliers to pinch the connector
free from the heater tabs for easier removal.
Remove the 4 screws that secure the heater and blower assembly to the unit, refer to Figure 1.
Take the blower and heater assembly out of the unit.
Remove the 6 screws on the back of the blower to remove the cover, refer to Figure 1.
Remove the single screw from the back of the heater and unplug the wire using pliers, refer to
Figure 2.
Remove the 3 screws located on the sides of the heater to remove the cover, refer to Figure 2.
