    If you are locating it on a table or desk, you can simply set it on the surface. If you are mounting the Simplex 100 on a wall, refer to the To Mount on a Wall section of this publication.

    NSTALLATION To Mount on Wall Note: Do not mount the Simplex 100 directly to plasterboard, paneling, brick, or concrete block. Rather, using appropriate fasteners, secure a board to the wall and then mount the Simplex 100 to the board. Wall Mounting At a height convenient for all members of the work force and within 6 ft.

    ROGRAMMING To Print Numbering You can print a number by using this option. The amount of digits for this number is definable between 0 and 6, the number of times that number is repeated is definable between 0 (fixed) and 9, and the starting number between 0 and 999999.

    Master Clock & Bell Ringer Connections The Simplex 100 series clock includes a 4-position, removable terminal block used to interface to Master Clock and Signal devices. Use the following illustrations and information to install the Master Clock connections to the S100 series clock. This series of clocks is capable of receiving 24 VDC Synchronous Master Clock signals without the Bell/Sync option.

    Time Card Operation To print the time/date in a specific place on a time card, use the window on the Simplex 100 to line up the appropriate space of the card with the open area of the gray print shield. If in Automatic mode, the Simplex 100 activates the print head when the card is in the correct position.

    Avoid Rough Treatment Avoid dropping the unit. Only gentle pressure is need to activate the print action in either Manual or Automatic modes. Retain the original packaging so you can use it if you must ship the Simplex 100. Cleaning The hard plastic casing of your clock has a durable finish that should retain its original luster for many years.

    Pour imprimer la date et l’heure à un endroit spécifique de la carte de pointage, alignez cet endroit à l’aide de la fenêtre de l’appareil Simplex 100 à l’ouverture de l’écran d’impression gris. Si vous êtes en mode automatique, l’appareil Simplex 100 déclenche la tête d’impression dès que la carte est correctement positionnée.
