Source
- transmitter battery too weak or
reverse-connected
- receiver ac power supply cord not
plugged in
- no proper connection at
transmitter audio input
- transmitter or receiver not turned
on or operating on different
channels
- antennas not connected or not
pulled out
- 'clip' indicator shows red light:
transmitter gain setting too high.
Reduce gain by turning the gain
adjusting screw
counterclockwise
- receiver output too high for
subsequent device: reduce output
level of receiver
- noise suppression threshold set
too low: turn 'mute' control
clockwise
- noise suppression threshold set
too high: turn 'mute' control
counterclockwise
- antennas have not been drawn
out to their entire length or do
not face to each other at right
angle
- receiver is too close to another
digital device (e.g. effects
processor) or receiver. Move receiver
to a different place
- battery has been installed with
wrong polarity

Connecting electric guitars / basses to the transmitter requires an electrical open
pin 1. A special adapter cable is available as supply part DSGK.

Every lavalier microphone requires an external supply voltage for its capsule,
which is in case of the d.a.i.sy transmitter supplied through pin 1 of its XLR ter-
minal. For lavalier microphones with line voltage supply (the signal wire also car-
ries the supply voltage), the supply voltage from pin 1 must be fed to the signal
wire on pin 3 through a small 15kohms resistor. This resistor can be easily solde-
red inside the microphone's XLR plug between pin 1 and pin 3.

Connecting lavalier microphones with a separate terminal wire for the supply vol-
tage (e.g. ZECK DSLM) is done by soldering this wire directly to pin 1.
