Dynamic Range Compression (DRC)

This function enables you to reduce the difference between the
maximum and minimum audio volume being broadcast. This makes
quiet sounds comparatively louder, and loud sounds comparatively
quieter. DRC only works if it is enabled by the broadcaster for a specific
station.
Once the "DRC" option is selected, use the 'Previous' (Rem.10) and Next
(Rem.25) buttons on the remote to scroll through the following DRC
options: DRC off, DRC high and DRC low.
Once on your chosen preference, press down the Navigate/OK dial
(Ref.12) or press the Enter/Play button on the remote (Rem.26) to
confirm choice.
Prune
To remove stations that are listed but are unavailable on DAB, you can
turn on the 'Prune Invalid' setting.
Once the 'Prune Invalid' option is selected, the screen will display
"Proceed to prune the invalid stations?" followed by Yes or No. To select
prune, use the 'Previous' (Rem.10) and Next (Rem.25) buttons on the
remote or the unit (Ref.8) and (Ref.9) to highlight "Yes". Select this by
pressing down the Navigate/OK dial (Ref.12) or press the Enter/Play
button on the remote (Rem.26) to confirm prune.
