Farbscanfunktion
1.Einstellmodus starten
Zu detektierendes Objekt innerhalb der Tastweite positionieren (auf 10-30° Verkippung achten).
SET-TASTE ≥ 3 s drücken >> grüne LED erlischt und Ch1 leuchtet gelb (Verriegelungseingang offen
oder 0 Volt).
2.Farbscanfunktion auswählen
Mit
einen der Farbkanäle Ch1, Ch2 oder Ch3 auswählen
(Die Stellung Ch1+Ch2+Ch3 nicht auswählen).
3.Farbbereich scannen + Einstellmodus beenden
SET-TASTE drücken und gedrückt halten, grüne LED blinkt nach 10 s. Jetzt ist die Farbscanfunktion aktiv.
Der Sensor lernt jetzt permanent die Farben, die er "sieht", solange die SET-TASTE gedrückt bleibt.
Durch Bewegen des Erfassungsobjektes werden jetzt alle Farben eingescannt auf die der weiße Lichtfleck des
Sensors auftrifft.
SET-TASTE loslassen um Scanvorgang zu beenden.
Der Sensor ist sofort wieder betriebsbereit.
Funktionsprüfung durch gelbe LED des zugeordneten Ausgangskanals.
Hinweis zum Farbscan:
Der Farbscan dient zum Einlernen ganzer Farbverläufe oder zum Einlernen von Objekten mit stark schwanken-
den Tastweiten, die nicht mehr mit einer Toleranzstufe erfaßt werden können.
Um Farbverläufe verschiedener Objekte einzuscannen, kann je Kanal ein Objekt eingescannt werden. Durch
Zusammenschaltung der Ausgangskanäle über eine ODER - Funktion in der nachgeschalteten Steuerung
können so Farbverläufe von bis zu 3 verschiedenen Objekten als ein Farbscan dargestellt werden.

Colour scanning function
1.Start setting mode
Position target object within the scanning distance (keep to an inclination of 10-30°).
Push SET key for ≥ 3 s >> green LED goes off and Ch1 lights up yellow (Interlocking input open or
0 Volt).
2.Select colour scanning function
Select one of the colour channels Ch1, Ch2 or Ch3 with
(Do not select the position Ch1+Ch2+Ch3).
3.Scan colour range + complete setting mode
Push SET key and keep pushed, green LED flashes after 10 s. Now the colour scanning function is active.
The sensor now learns permanently the colours it "sees", as long as the SET key remains pushed.
By moving the detected object, all colours hit by the sensor's white light spot are now scanned.
Release the SET key to complete the scanning procedure.
The sensor is immediately ready for operation again.
Performance check by means of the yellow LED of the assigned output channel.
Remark regarding colour scanning:
The colour scanning is used for the teaching-in of whole colour sequences or for the teaching-in of objects
with a strongly varying scanning range, that cannot be detected with a tolerance level any more. In order to
scan colour sequences of different objects, it is possible to scan one object per channel. By interconnecting
the output channels via an OR – function in the secondary control system, colour sequences of up to
3 different objects can be shown as one colour scan.

Remarks relating to Special functions
a.Pulse stretching 50 ms
Stretching of the switching signals to 50 ms. Is effective for all 3
outputs.
b. External Teach-in
The output Q3 becomes a Teach-in input. At HIGH Signal, a new
colour with tolerance 3 is taught-in on channel 1. After successful
external teach-in, an acknowledgement signal (50 ms) is emitted at
output Q2.

Fonction balayage des couleurs
1.Démarrer le mode réglage
Positionner l'objet à détecter dans le champ de détection (veiller à une inclinaison de 10-30°).
Appuyer sur la touche SET pendant ≥ 3 s >> La LED verte s'éteint, et Ch1 (jaune) s'allume (Entrée de ver-
rouillage ouverte ou 0 Volt).
2.Sélectionner la fonction balayage des couleurs
Sélectionner un des canaux de couleur Ch1, Ch2 ou Ch3 avec la
(Ne pas sélectionner le réglage Ch1+Ch2+Ch3).
3.Balayer l'échelle des couleurs + terminer le mode réglage
Appuyer sur la touche SET et la tenir appuyée, LED verte clignote après 10 s. La fonction balayage des
couleurs est activée. Le capteur apprend alors les couleurs qu'il "voit" aussi longtemps que la touche SET reste ap-
puyée. En déplaçant l'object à détecter sous le spot du capteur, toutes les couleurs détectées pendant ce balayage
seront reconnues.
Relâcher la touche SET pour terminer la procédure de balayage.
Le capteur est tout de suite prêt à fonctionner.
Essai de fonctionnement par LED jaune du canal de sortie attribué.
Remarque concernant le balayage des couleurs:
Le balayage des couleurs s'utilise pour apprendre des séquences de couleurs, ou reconnaître des objets à des
distances variables dans le champ de détection, et qui ne peuvent plus être détectés par une seule plage de
tolérance. Pour balayer des séquences de couleurs de différents objets, on peut balayer un objet par canal. Par
interconnexion des canaux de sortie à l'aide d'une fonction OU dans la commande secondaire, des séquences des
couleurs de 3 objets différents peuvent être présentées comme un balayage des couleurs.
