with wet hands as this could cause a short circuit
or electric shock.
• To avoid a risk of fire or electric shock, do not
use this device with an extension cord. If the
mains cable or vehicle cable is damaged it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.

WALL MOUNTING WARNINGS

• Read the instructions before mounting your
charging station on the wall.
• Do not install the charging station on a ceiling
or inclined wall.
• Use the specified wall mounting screws and
other accessories.
• This unit is rated for indoor or outdoor installation.
If this unit is mounted outdoors, the hardware for
connecting the conduits to the unit must be rated
for outdoor installation and be installed properly
to maintain the proper IP rating on the unit.
BASIC OPERATION - Only WiFi
Equipped Models
VESTEL charging station is designed to charge
plug-in electric vehicles (PHEV) and battery electric
vehicles (BEV) with Type 2 socket compatible cable
on charging station side. Please read important
safety warnings and instructions carefully before
operating the charging station.

At the start-up, please be sure that Blue LED is
on. Connect the charging plug to the vehicle and
then to the charging station. VESTEL charging
station starts the charging session automatically.
For first configuration of smart functionalities,
charging station must be connected to the Internet
via Wireless AP. Please follow the steps in "Mobile
Application" section for Wireless AP connection.
The charging plug is always locked to socket outlet

before starting to charge. The charging plug is
unlocked from socket outlet of VESTEL charging
station after disconnecting the charging cable from
vehicle.
If the button LED is blinking red, your vehicle needs
ventilation during charging because of the drivetrain
battery type.
If the LED is steady Red, please check
troubleshooting section and do not connect any
charging plug to the VESTEL charging station.
BASIC OPERATION - For WiFi + RFID
Equipped Models
RFID equipped charging station has autostart
functionality. If no RFID master card is registered,
it is used as autostart charging station without RFID
authorization. By default, the product comes as
autostart. If you want to use the charging station
with RFID authorization, please register an RFID
master card according to the below instructions to
the charging station. Check accessories inside the
package for master and slave RFID cards. Your
charging station comes with 1 master and 2 user
cards. Find and take RFID master card in hand
for further steps. For first configuration of smart
functionalities, charging station must be connected
to the Internet via Wireless AP. Please follow the
steps in "Mobile Application" section.
a. RFID Configuration and Registering Master
Card
To be able to use your charging station with RFID
functionality and to register RFID master card you
need to perform configuration firstly.
Before starting please make sure your charging
station is switched off and charging cable is not
connected.
Follow the below steps for configuration:
1. Switch on your Charging Device to start
configuration.
2. Push the button on the Charging Device (for about
5 seconds) until you hear buzzer sound. Please note
that you need to push the button latest in 30 seconds
after the first step.
3. Led light will start blinking fast in red color.
