the debris to be collected.
• Alternatively with the Vacuum-Blower held just above
the ground swing the machine from side to side,
moving forwards and directing the nozzle at the debris
to be collected.
• Do not force the nozzle into the debris as this will
block the suction tube and reduce the efficiency of the
machine.
• Organic materials such as leaves contain a large
amount of water that can cause them to stick to the
inside of the suction tube. To reduce sticking the
material should be left for a few days to dry out.

9. Maintenance

Before working on the device, disconnect the mains
cable from the socket.
Always wear protective gloves when working on or
around cutting tools.
Cleaning
• Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to
prevent overheating of the engine.
• Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth,
preferably after each use.
• Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.
• If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened
with soapy water.
• Regularly check the device before starting work.
• Damaged blades have to be repaired or replaced by
an authorised service department before you can work
with the device.
• Never use water to clean or spray the device. Clean
the motor casing with a damp cloth and never use de-
tergents or solvents! This may damage the device's
plastic parts. Dry the motor casing carefully afterwards.
• Only use OEM parts for maintenance work. Using parts
other than original parts can cause damage to the ma-
chine.
Cleaning the bag
• Empty the bag every time after it has been used.
• Shake the bag thoroughly.
• Turn it inside out and brush the bag out thoroughly.
• Wash the bag when extremely soiled or at least once a
year, by hand in mild soap suds.
• If the zip fastener is stiff, rub dry soap into the zip.
• For your own safety, regularly check the bag for any
signs of damage.
• Always replace a damaged bag immediately.
Maintenance
Our machines have been designed to operate over
a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper
machine care and regular cleaning.

Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the
appliance is in safe working
condition.
• Check the debris collector frequently for wear or
deterioration.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories
• Store the appliance only in a dry place.
The user is responsible for all damages caused by non-
compliance with instructions in this manual. This also
applies to non-authorized modifications of the tool, use of
non-authorized spare parts, accessories, working tools,
unrelated and not intended use, secondary damages
due to use of faulty components.

10. Storage

• Thoroughly clean the whole machine and its accesso-
ries.
• Store it out of the reach of children, in a stable and
secure position, in a cool and dry place, avoid too high
and too low temperatures.
• Protect it from exposure to direct sunlight. Keep it in
the dark, if possible.
• Don´t keep it in plastic bags to avoid humidity build-up.
WARNING!
Do not store the device without protection outside or in a
damp environment.

11. Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it
from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in
this packaging can be reused or recycled. The equip-
ment and its accessories are made of various types of
material, such as metal and plastic. Defective compo-
nents must be disposed of as special waste. Ask your
dealer or your local council.
