GENERAL DESCRIPTION

DEVICE DESCRIPTION
Jaga Clima Canal is intended for the treatment of air in indoor environments; any other use is strictly
forbidden.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Packaged units can be stored by stacking a maximum of four on top of each other and must be
stored in a dry area.
IDENTIFICATION OF THE UNIT
The units are equipped with a label displaying the serial number plate on the mounting plate next to the
support of the electrical connection.
OPERATIONAL LIMITS
An installation that does not meet the specified operational limits releases Jaga NV from all liability
with respect to damage to objects or people.
– mains voltage: 230 V
– max. pressure heat exchanger: 10 bar
– supply voltage: 24V
ACOUSTIC ISOLATION
– insulation against airborne noise: Sound is reflected by hard materials. Soft, porous substances are
best suited to absorbing airborne sound.
– contact sound insulation: Sound travels very easily in hard materials. Contact sound insulation will
largely depend on the quality of installation.
– contactpoints. make sure that sound- and/or mechanical vibrations cannot be transferred
between different elements, e.g. between the built-in heaters and a metal carrier, through pipes,
along air ducts etc.
– hollow acoustic spaces. where air can travel, so can sound. Isolate the built-in heaters in hollow
acoustic spaces. Avoid cavities between insulation and pipes. These form small resonance
boxes. Avoid cavities along air ducts (the acoustic effect cannot be predicted for this).
EXTENDED OFF PERIODS
If the device will not be in use for a long period, the user should turn off the power supply by swit-
ching the power switch to the OFF position.
If the unit is not used during the winter period, the water contained in the system may freeze. All the
water in the circuit must be drained on time. If draining the system is to complex, a suitable amount of
antifreeze liquid can be mixed with the water.
ANTI-FREEZE PROTECTION
Mixing the water with glycol modifies the performance of the unit. Pay attention to the safety instructi-
ons on the package regarding glycol.
RESTART AFTER PROLONGED SHUTDOWN
– check whether the air inlet and air outlet openings are free of obstruction
– clean the exchanger.
– bleed the water system.
– it is advisable to run the unit at maximum speed for serveral hours.
