Finally, connect the data cable. You can use either the FireWire cable or the USB cable. Con-
nect the FireWire cable from one of the ports on your drive to an available FireWire port on your
computer, or connect the USB cable from the USB port on the drive to an available USB port on
your computer.
The hard drive will mount automatically, and a new icon will appear in My Computer (Windows)
or a new icon will appear on the desktop (Mac).

also available at www.verbatim-europe.com/manuals
If you intend to re-format the hard drive please copy the User Guides and all other relevant files
to another location.
