PROBLEM
I cannot hear a dial tone in my headset.
Press the headset/handset button on your amplifier or the
talk button on your remote unit (or headset if applicable).
Ensure the lifter height switch is correctly positioned to lift
the handset clear of the hookswitch.
PROBLEM
I can hear a ring on the telephone but not in my headset.
When using the handset lifter in conjunction with a
telephone with selectable ringing tones, it may be
necessary to switch between tones to identify the one
most suited to the HL10's ring detect circuitry.
The ringer volume of your telephone may need to
be adjusted.
PROBLEM
The lifter does not raise the handset clear of the hookswitch.
Adjust the lifter height switch between the 3 positions to
find the most suitable for your telephone.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

• Plantronics guarantees the satisfactory condition of the equipment
with regard to manufacturing and material defects for 2 years from
the date of purchase. (Please retain the original receipt).
• This product should be installed and used in accordance with the
instructions detailed in this user guide, and serviced at an approved
Plantronics Service Centre. Failure to comply with these conditions
may render the warranty void.
• This does not affect your statutory rights.
