OPERATION
AUTOMATIC STORING & PROGRAM
SCANNING
- Automatic storing

Press the TS button (3) for 2 seconds
the radio starts searchings from 87.5
MHz frequency and checks the signal
strength until one cycle search is
finished. Then it stores the 6 stations
with the strongest signal under FM3
preset number buttons. In the first cycle,
it scans in LOCAL ON mode for the
stations with the strongest signal. If less
than 18 stations are located, it scans
stations in LOCAL OFF mode in the
second cycle.

Program scanning
Press the TS button (3) briefly to scan
preset stations. The radio stops at a
preset number for 5 seconds. Press the
TS button again to stop the program
scan.
STORING A STATION
To store a station, press one of the
preset buttons (1-6) for 2 seconds. The
current station is stored under the
number button. Briefly press the preset
button (1-6) to directly listen to the
station that was saved under the
corresponding preset button.
RDS

OPERATION
Setting RDS mode
Press the AF button (20) to switch the
AF function on or off.
Whenever AF is on, the "AF" symbol
appears on the display.
The program name is displayed upon
receiving an RDS station.
"AF" starts blinking if the broadcasting
signal deteriorates.
Regional Program Operation
When AF function is on, press the AF
button (20) for several seconds to
switch region mode on or off.
Some broadcasting stations change
their program from normal broadcasting
to regional broadcasting for a certain
time period. When Region is on, the
current listening program remains
unchanged. When Region is off, it
allows reception to move to the regional
station.
Listening to Traffic Announcements
Press the TA button to activate the TA
function.
When TA mode is on and a traffic
announcement is transmitted:
When the unit is in (MP3), USB, SD or
AUX IN mode, it temporarily switches to
radio mode.
