OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
Activating/disabling the intensive cooling function
1. Unlock the control panel; press the alarm/child lock key for 3 seconds.
2. Touch the temperature adjustment key (refrigerator compartment) for three seconds until the
intensive cooling pictogram and temperature 2 °C are illuminated.
The function is activated.

3. Touch the temperature adjustment key (refrigerator compartment) for three seconds until the
intensive cooling pictogram is not illuminated any more.
The function is disabled.

When the intensive cooling function is not switched off manually, the function will be
switched off automatically after about three hours.
Selecting the ECO function or holiday function while the intensive cooling function is
activated immediately deactivates intensive cooling.

Intensive freezing

This appliance has an intensive freezing function. This function decreases the temperature in
the freezer compartment as quickly as possible. Activate this function 24 hours before you put a
large quantity of fresh food in the appliance.

2. Touch the temperature adjustment key (freezer compartment) for three seconds until the
intensive freezing pictogram and temperature -24 °C are illuminated.
The function is activated.

3. Touch the temperature adjustment key (freezer compartment) for three seconds until the
intensive freezing pictogram is not illuminated any more.
▷ The function is disabled.
When the intensive freezing function is not switched off manually, the function will be
switched off automatically (after about 2 days).
Selecting the ECO function or holiday function while the intensive freezing function is
activated immediately deactivates intensive freezing.
