correctly connected or operated, or if it is
not repaired in an expert way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.

3 Operation

WARNING To prevent damage to your eyes,
never look directly into the light
source for any length of time.
Please note that fast changes
in lighting, e. g. flashing light, may trigger
epileptic seizures with photosensitive per-
sons or persons with epilepsy!
1) For power supply, connect the mains jack
of the unit to a socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz)
using the mains cable provided. The unit
will be switched on: The moving head will
go to its starting position and the text
(IMG) will run through the display.
Then the unit will switch to the operating
mode most recently selected.

2) Use the buttons UP and DOWN to select
the operating mode (also see page 2, fig. 4).
Note: If
appears on the display, the menu for
the basic settings has been called up with the but-
ton MENU. To select an operating mode, first
press the button MENU again.
3) To focus the light pattern projected, turn
the lens at the front of the moving head.

3.1 Independent operation

3.1.1 Operation with the remote control

The remote control is supplied with a battery.
Prior to initial operation, remove the protective
film from the battery support. When pressing
a button, always point the remote control to
the display (the infrared sensor for the remote
control signals is located next to the display).
Make sure that there are no obstacles
between the sensor and the remote control.
If the remote control is not used for a
longer time, remove the battery as a precau-
tion so that the remote control will not be
damaged in case the battery should leak.
Replacing the battery
1) Push the latch of the battery support to the
right (first arrow in figure 6) and pull out the
support (second arrow).

2) Remove the discharged battery and insert
the new battery (3 V button cell of the type
CR 2025) into the support, positive pole
facing upwards.
3) Push the support back into the remote
control.
Never put batteries in the house-
hold waste. To protect the envi-
ronment, always take them to a
special waste disposal, e. g. col-
lection container at your retailer.
Functional options
First, switch the TWIST-1LED to remote con-
trol operation:
1) Press the button STAND BY on the remote
control:
will appear on the display;
the light beam will extinguish and the mov-
ing head will go to the centre position.
2) Press the button FULL ON:
on the display; the moving head will go to
a previously set position (chapter 3.1.2, B)
and the light beam will be switched on.
