5.1 TRANSPORT AND UNLOADING

ATTENTION
During the phases of loading, unloading, transportation, moving
and installation of the machine, mechanical hazards are present.
Problems may occur because of stability loss during the
transport phase prior to installation.
For this reason, transport and lifting operations must be
performed by qualified and properly trained staff, equipped with
adequate means such as a pallet truck, a lift truck and a platform
with self propelled areas.
ATTENTION
In order to avoid any risks to the staff dealing with the lifting and
transportation of the machine the use of personal protection
equipment (PPE) is provided.
NOTE
The weight of the machine or of each individual part is also
indicated on the label together with the technical characteristics.
NOTE
TERMOTECNICA PERICOLI S.r.l. will not be held liable under
any circumstances for the damage caused to objects and/
or people due to the use of improper procedures or improper
equipment to move the machine.
The machine is supplied by TERMOTECNICA PERICOLI S.r.l.
in one of the following means, according to the supply contract:
1. PREASSEMBLED PRODUCT
A single module, packaged in a single pack, which can be
grabbed from the side.
2. PRODUCTS TO BE ASSEMBLED
Various modules that can be classified according to the
components contained, with varying sizes, packed and placed
on pallets.
ATTENTION
When lifting objects manually, health risks may occur due to
improper lifting technique.
For this reason, it is recommended that objects weighing more
than 20 kg are lifted by two or more operators.
The machine is equipped with a grip base, compatible with
almost all types of pallet trucks commercially available. This base
was designed to facilitate transportation throughout the life cycle
of the machine.
ATTENTION
Transportation and lifting must be done only with an emplty watertank!
5.2 CHECKING THE PACKAGE AND UNPACKING
The machine should be supplied in the safelty package and in
perfect condition. In spite of the precautions taken, the package
and/or its contents can be damaged during transportation.
Upon receipt of the machine check the transporting container for
any visible signs of damage.
Open the transporting container and check the contents for any
potential damage in the interior. If damage is detected, contact
TERMOTECNICA PERICOLI S.r.l. to determine the type of
intervention required.

TERMOTECNICA PERICOLI S.r.l. reserves the right verify the
damage.
The packaging should be opened with respect for the
environment. Recycling of the packaging allows
materials and reduces waste.
Refer to the prescribed standards in force in the country of
installation.
6.1 INSTALLATION
WARNING
Only properly trained staff can install and maintain the machine.
Failure to follow the instructions may result in incorrect operation,
damage to the machine and even serious personal injury.
WARNING
The removal of the machine for installation in a raised position
of the machine must be carried out safely. Therefore, such
operations should be entrusted to expert staff.
Given the weight of the machine, it should be raised by using a
platform with self propelled areas, aerial self propelled platforms
or lift trucks with sufficient lifting capacity.
The lifting equipment must have performance characteristics
higher than those required to lift the machine.
It is recommended to use individual safety devices, including:
- protective gloves and clothes, cut resistant due to the sharp
materials such as metal profiles;
- safety belts for high installation if you do not have a self-
propelled aerial platform equipped with a safety guardrail.
WARNING
Given the risks arising from the moving parts and the air treated,
the user must protect the exhaust area of the fan by an enclosure,
preventing any unauthorized access. Indicate the prohibited area
by appropriate panels and signs.
However, it is possible to purchase a protective net for each fan
(option SK).
