4.3 Calibration of the Conductivity Sensor.
Install conductivity sensor. Clean sensor with a clean dry soft cloth.
The calibration sensor is to be calibrated to a single value. Make a sachet with calibration solution
1.413 µS/cm ready.
Calibration
1. Make sure that the conductivity sensor is installed and that the display reads the symbols
,
or
2. Dip the sensor into the calibration solution, stir and wait for a stable reading. Keep the button
pressed until CAL appears and 1.413 µS/cm flashes. As soon as the flashing stops the
display shows „SA" and „End". The device returns to the measuring mode automatically.
Attention:
(1)
If you need to measure a liquid with a high conductivity you should calibrate the
device with a 12.88 mS/cm standard solution which is available at most chemical
trading companies.
(2)
The symbol
calibration mode.
(3)
The device don't need to be calibrated befor each usage. Only calibrate after longer
periode of non-usage or if the reading differs from the value of a reference solution.
We suggest to do a calibration at least any 6 month.
(4)
Dispose the calibration solution after usage. The solution is not suitable for multiple
