Chapter 1 – General Information

1.1 General Information

The components of this test kit have been chosen to provide the best results for the measurement
of the total hardness, the electrical conductivity and of the pH-value of heating water.
Please read this user guide fully prior to using the instrument and follow the instructions. Please
keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
Please be careful to prevent the chemicals coming into contact with your eyes, nose and mouth.
All chemicals are irritants. In case of contact you should rinse the area immediately with water.
Please consult your doctor in case of severe irritations.
Keep away from children! Only use the instruments and the chemicals for their intended purpose.
The product liability law (Produkthaftungsgesetz) does not cover injury and damage caused by
failure to comply with these user instructions.
This product must be used only in accordance to these instructions. The manufacturer is not
liable for any damages, including consequential damages resulting from improper use of the
product. The latest national and international safety regulations must be observed. Each operator
is responsible for complying with these regulations.
Attention! Protect from frost: Do not store the meter at low temperatures. Frost can cause the
destruction of the sensors or can lead to inaccurate measurements.
