Set up receiver:
1. Check that the voltage of the supplied AC adapter conforms to the voltage available.
Using the wrong AC adapter may cause irrepairable damage to the unit.
2. Plug the feeder cable of the supplied AC adapter into the DC IN socket on the receiver.
Then plug the AC adapter into a power outlet. The receiver switches on automatically,
the power LED lights up.
3. In order to make sure you have a good sound quality and to avoid distortion, please
adjust the MIC/LINE switch according to the following instructions.
When using a standard audio cable with XLR or 6.35mm plug to connect to the MIC
IN on the audio mixer or on the amplifier, please set the MIC/LINE switch to the "MIC"
position, the output level for unbalanced output is about 100 mV.
When using a standard audio cable with XLR or 6.35mm plug to connect to the LINE
IN on the audio mixer or on the amplifier, please set the MIC/LINE switch to the "LINE"
position, the output level for unbalanced output is about 1V.
Never use the balanced and unbalanced audio outputs at the same time! This may
cause signal loss or increased noise.
4. Adjust the dip switch to set the channel.
5. If you need to set up a multi-receiver system, please keep previous systems powered
on.
6. Make sure the receiver channel is the same as the transmitter channel
Inserting batteries into the microphone and bodypack transmitter
1. Open the battery cover and insert the batteries into the battery compartment conforming
to the polarity (+)(-) marks.

The LED indicates the battery status. The LED will stay on to indicate the batteries have
sufficient power. If the LED fails to light, the battery is either dead or not positioned
correctly. If the LED stays flashing, it indicates that the batteries will be out of power
soon.
Setting up the receiver and bodypack transmitter
A. Connecting a microphone
1. Push the MIC/LINE switch to "MIC" and use the supplied screw- driver to adjust the
GAIN to the appropriate position.
2. Plug the mini XLR connector of the microphone cable into the audio input connector on
the bodypack transmitter.
3. Switch the transmitter and amplifier or audio mixer on.
4. Adjust the channel settings of the transmitter according to the receiver's channel
setting.
5. Test the microphone and adjust the levels on your audio mixer or amplifier.
B. Connecting an instrument
1. Push the MIC/LINE switch to "LINE" and use the supplied screwdriver to adjust the
GAIN to the appropriate position.
2. Plug the 6.35mm plug of the optional guitar cable to the output jack on the instrument
and the mini XLR into audio input connector on the bodypack transmitter.
3. Switch the transmitter and Hi-Fi device (amplifier, tape deck etc.) on.
4. Adjust the channel settings of the transmitter according to the receiver's channel
settings.
5. Play the instrument for testing and adjust the levels on your audio mixer or amplifier.
