9 - Inspection and servicing

BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICING OPERATION,
SWITCH OFF THE MAIN POWER SUPPLY OF THE CONTROL
SYSTEM.
- The ISIS transmitter, receiver and transceiver units must not be
opened, except for confi guration and wiring purposes. The units
must only be opened in a clean, dry location free of dust.
- Special care must be taken when using the ISIS data
transmission system in an environment containing polymer
solvents or adhesives which could downgrade correct operation
of the products.
Regularly check the following points :
- Connection of power supplies, inputs and outputs,
- Control relay contacts,
- Condition and correct position of cover seal,
- Tightening of screws on housing and cable gland, and antenna
sealing system,
- If accessory ref.:OWR01 (external BNC antenna connector) is
used, check antenna connection, and check that it is clean and
free of any rust at the connector.
- Clean the products by eliminating any foreign matter.
Only use non aggressive cleaning product on base of soapy
solution.
